The Art of Makeup!

Objectives:
I want to make people realize makeup is art and can be used in many ways, also to realize the different colours and textures you can use, give audience ideas.

What are your responsibilities?
My responsibilities is to get models, design there makeup, do different styles, make sure they stand out, apply there makeup, using photography take a picture of them, enlarge the picture, make the expedition.

Why did you choose this project?
I choose this project because it is a personal intrest of mine, i would like to show the audience the art of makeup.

MovieStorm

Today we was listening to speakers and they was showing us how to use Movie storm, Moviestorm is opening up the world of digital animation to a worldwide mass market of predominantly young amateurs with little or no experience of even using it. They were offering an affordable suite of products that are fun and easy to use. They said they want a million kids to make a movie, purely for the fun of it!

They was showing us the basics of how to use it, and it seemed easy and fun, there is so much you can use it for e.g. planning, music videos, as a game, making movies etc.

8.2 Makeup research

This image uses makeup to make the main characteristics stand out e.g. the lips and eyes, they have used this makeup to show the bone structure of the face, and also to attract peoples attention away from the bright cloths and hair.


















This make up shows emotion, as you can she the mascara is runny down her cheeks which represents she had been crying, this makeup is to show a message.










This makeup is used for promote a brand. It is shaped as glasses, looks very effective.



















This makeup is used as art, you wouldn't go out wearing make up like this.










This kind of make up is also used for art purposes, but all make up is art for whatever occasion.

EXPLORING YOUR IDEAS

Title of Project	Face Mess
What is its format?	The format for this project is Photography, as I will be doing different styles of makeup on modals and doing an expedition on the photos I have taken.
What is its purpose?	The purpose of this project is to show the audience different styles of make up and what you can do with make up that would match the look of what they like.
Who is the target audience?	The targeted audience for this project is young adults and teenagers that would like to explore what can be provide on faces.
How will it be produced?	My work will be produced by taking pictures of the modals different types of made up faces and print them on large paper, then I will place the large pictures around a room and get interested audience to look around the expedition.
What resources are needed?	The resources needed for my project is a range of different makeup, good quality camera, modals, practise, and large paper to print.
What risks are involved?	The risks are applying make up that the modals are allergic to and may cause rashes and itchy skin.
How will I overcome the risks?	I will overcome the risk by using sensitive makeup and using only modals that are not allergic (people that know they are not allergic is usually people who were makeup all the time)
What other issues do I need to think about?	Need to think about where the expedition is going to be held.

8.1 Project description of what i intend to do

Description of What my Project is going to be about

For my project in Unit 7, my idea is to make the subject of make up and photography which will come under performing arts/visual arts, performing arts: because before a performance and every one has different types of make up on to suit a certain character, Visual arts: because it is photography which people will be looking at the photos so it is visual arts.

I plan to do an expedition after I do the makeup on the modals and photograph their faces, I would enlarged all the photographs in a room for every one to see my work of Natural, Scary, Goth, Chav etc of different faces.
